Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Walkthrough – Mission 38: Extraordinary

The ruins will be teeming with soldiers, and your specific objective won't be marked on the map. Start by focusing on eliminating the soldiers in the area. A long-range weapon should be your primary choice here. While you can try to sneak up behind the enemies for a more stealthy approach, the tight quarters in this location make it difficult to pull off successfully.

If you get detected, the enemies will call in support, which includes a helicopter. This can significantly complicate the mission, making stealth the best approach to avoid escalating the situation. Once you've dealt with the enemies, your next step is to locate the film canister. It can be found in one of three possible locations, and you can identify the correct spot by referring to the picture provided to you in the iDroid. Take your time to compare the image with your surroundings to ensure a successful retrieval.

The picture above indicates where we found the canister. Once you’ve retrieved it, your mission is complete, and you can simply exit the area and extract yourself to finish. If you need additional assistance in locating the canister, Ocelot will call Snake within two minutes of reaching Spugmay Keep and will provide you with the exact location on the iDroid. This can be a helpful backup if you’re having trouble finding it on your own.
